Central location with a fantastic Italian restaurant right next door-Locale. The breakfast was complimentary and surprisingly good. Free parking is a major plus. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. I slept well both nights. The coffee, while simple, did the job, and the mini-fridge and microwave were convenient. Staff like Megan, Adam, and Martha were genuinely accommodating and friendly. On the flip side, front desk communication was a bit lacking. The carpet showed wear, and maintenance on room issues was slow. An unwelcoming welcome doesn't set the right tone. And a washroom without a door? That's needs addressing. But the good staff made it worthwhile. I'd consider returning.

we did encounter some issues with the heating and air conditioning unit. The room itself was comfortable with a nice sitting area, but we found the lack of a mini, bar disappointing. The absence of a terrace or garden furniture was a missed opportunity for outdoor relaxation. One positive aspect was the in, room sink which came in handy for quick water access. On the downside, the soundproofing of the rooms left much to be desired, as we could hear noise from the hallway and neighboring rooms. The bathtub was clean, but we noticed some rust around the drain that could use attention. We appreciated having an AM/FM alarm clock, though a CD player or mobile phone charger would have been a nice addition. The flat, screen TV was a good entertainment option, but the carpeted floor seemed a bit worn. Unfortunately, we did not see any service for car hire, dry cleaning, or grocery shopping available. The laundry facilities were adequate, but we would have liked more assistance with tours or ticket bookings. There was no mention of a happy hour, which would have added to the overall experience.

I found this hotel super convenient for a weekend stroll as it's just over 2 km from Reid Park, which is perfect for a nice walk or a picnic and also only about 5 km from the University of Arizona, so there's a lot to see around, not to mention it's close to great dining options like Smashburger and Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen just a few minutes away. The staff was friendly, and the breakfast buffet was a nice perk to start my day. But the hotel could use some updates in terms of room amenities and maintenance.
